Community Development

Community Development continues the ongoing work of community revitalization through marketing and community development.  They serve as a liaison between local businesses and the City of Angola, is a point of contact for registration of public events and works as administrator for the Historic Preservation Commission. The Community Coordinator is also an integral part of growing a sustainable arts and culture foundation in Angola with their work with the Mayor's Arts Council.

Planning an Event in Downtown Angola?

Planning to organize an event in the downtown area? Here are some easy steps to ensure that your event is a hit.

1. Submit an Event Application at least 4-weeks prior to the event to the Economic Development & Planning Office.

2. Along with the application submit relevant information such as event map, proof of event liability insurance, etc.

3. Please submit the relevant forms from Emergency Management
