City of Angola, Indiana

The Board of Public Works and Safety has broad statutory grants of power to enable to carry out their functions. The public safety function includes law enforcement and fire protection. The public works function includes control over streets, sanitation, transportation, sewers, and water utilities.

The board meets on the first Monday of each month prior to Common Council in City Hall.
