Fire Extinguisher Training

In 2010 the City of Angola applied for and received a State of Indiana grant to purchase a fire extinguisher training system.  This system uses a propane fed fire so that students of all ages can learn the proper use of a fire extinguisher.  Every year our firefighters train area business employees, resident advisors at Trine, fraternity members, and home caregivers. Please call the Angola Fire station at 260-665-5555 to set up your free class for your group.

 Fire Extinguisher

Pull. Aim. Squeeze. Sweep.

Pull the pin. Aim the nozzle. Squeeze the handle. Sweep the nozzle.

Never turn your back on a fire that you just extinguished with a fire extinguisher, it could flare back up.  When in doubt, activate the fire alarm system, exit the building and call 911 to report the fire.
