GRASS CLIPPINGS
The Street Department DOES NOT pick up grass clippings. Grass clippings should be left on the lawn after mowing so that the nutrients in the clippings can go back into the soil.
Grass clippings may also be taken to the Northeast Indiana Solid Waste Management District compost site located at CR 175N., NW of Angola, adjacent to the Steuben County 4-H Fairgrounds. They can be reached Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm at 260-587-3063 or 800-777-5462.
