The Angola Parks & Recreation Department has various activities and programs for all ages to enjoy.
Our two main programs we offer are our Memorial Tree Program and our Summer Recreation Program.

Registration for our Summer Recreation program will begin in the month of April 2025
Arts in the Parks!
Angola Parks and Recreation and the Angola Performing Arts Academy (APAA) have teamed up to celebrate and promote Angola’s “Arts in the Parks” from the fall of 2024, through the summer of 2025.
This partnership and funding from donors and the Steuben County Community Foundation is allowing for arts focused programming for all ages and interests in Commons Park and Commons Hall. There are several partnerships and a highlight will include a collaboration with the Yellow Frame
Project that will allow community paintings to be exhibited in an art show at Carnegie Public Library in 2025. Additional programming will include Taiko Drum performance from the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, special themed workshops with Janelle Slone, of Relic Emporium, theater workshops, choral workshops, music and dance classes, and poetry workshops with LouAnn Homan and a public student poetry performance. There will be an Arts in the Parks celebration, vendors and performances on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 in Commons Park.
