Every year the Angola Tree Board gives away trees for the City-Wide Tree Give-Away. Most years over 100 trees are given to those who call in first to reserve a tree. A notice is printed on the City utility bill in February or March. The city resident can choose to plant the tree themselves or have the Angola Middle School students plant it for them. This is part of the Arbor Day festivities conducted by the school. Our Tree Board does an exceptional job at educating the youth about the importance and value of trees. Keep an eye on your utility bills for a chance to reserve a free tree.
